Ruleset

1. Teams
Composition: Each team consists of seven players on the field at a time, with five substitutes on the bench.
* Specialists: Teams can include specialists in tagging, defending, and now, wrestling, which becomes crucial for the shootout round.
2. Duration
Regular Match Time: 40 minutes, divided into two halves of 20 minutes each, with a 5-minute halftime break.
Overtime: If the match ends in a tie after regular time, an additional 5-minute overtime period is played.
* Shoot-out: If the match remains tied after overtime, the game proceeds to the freestyle wrestling shootout.
3. Game Objective
* Raid: Similar to Kabaddi, a player from one team (the raider) enters the opponent’s zone to tag as many defenders as possible and return to their own side within a 30-second window, without being tackled.
4. Scoring
* Touch Points: The raider scores points by tagging defenders and successfully returning to their side without being tackled.
Bonus Points: A raider can earn additional points by crossing the bonus line, provided the defending team has a minimum number of players on the field.
* Tackle Points: Defenders score points by successfully tackling the raider before they can return to their side.
All-Out Points: If all players on one team are tagged out, the opposing team earns additional points and all-out status, reviving their players.
5. Time-Outs
* Each team is allowed two (2) time-outs per half.
6. Special Rules
* Super Tackle: When three or fewer defenders successfully tackle the raider, they earn additional points (e.g., 2 points. instead of 1).
* Revival System: Players who are tagged out can be revived based on their team’s scoring performance.
7. Wrestling Shootout (Introduced for Tiebreakers)
Teams: In case of a tie after overtime, each team selects their best wrestling specialist for the shootout.
Format: The shootout consists of one-on-one freestyle wrestling matches between the selected players from each team.
8. Shootout Rules
Match Duration: Each freestyle wrestling match lasts for 1-2 minutes.
* Scoring System:
Points are awarded based on freestyle wrestling rules (e.g., 2 points for a takedown, 1 point for a reversal, 2-3 points for exposure).
– A pin immediately ends the match, awarding victory to the wrestler who secures it.
Victory: The wrestler with the most points at the end of the time limit wins the round for their team. If a pin occurs, the wrestler who executed it wins the round instantly.
* Sudden Death: If the teams are tied after the initial shootout rounds, the match proceeds to a sudden death round with
no time limit. The first wrestler to score a takedown or pin wins the match.
9. Additional Elements
Substitutions: Substitutions can be made freely during the game, but only during breaks in play.
* Team Strategy: With the inclusion of the wrestling shootout, teams will need to balance their roster between raiders, defenders, and wrestling specialists, ensuring a well-rounded team for all phases of the game.
